Topsoil, turf & bark in Stretford

Stretford splits into two kinds of housing and each wants something different from us. The Victorian terraces around Old Trafford and Gorse Hill have small back yards and long thin gardens on soil that has been trodden hard for a hundred years. The inter-war semis through Firswood, Lostock and Longford came with proper front and back lawns that go tired and patchy and come up for returfing every few years. We supply lawn turf, topsoil and bark to both.

Access on the older streets is the usual terrace job. Plenty have no drive and no side gate, so the only route to the back garden is through the house or down a shared ginnel, and we plan for that. Bulk bags of topsoil and bark go down kerbside at the nearest safe spot for you to barrow in, or they get carried through for you on a supply and lay job. The semis are simpler, most have a side gate wide enough for a barrow. Order bagged materials with delivery priced off your postcode, or ring us for turf.

We run out of Leigh, over in the west, so delivery to Stretford is from £20. Turf is cut to order and comes next-day once it is booked in, so a new lawn goes down fresh instead of drying out on a pallet.
